About Geopolitical Spectrum

Geopolitical Spectrum is an independent digital media platform exploring geopolitics, identity, conflict, and diaspora realities through a critical, community-rooted lens. While placing particular emphasis on the Armenian experience in Lebanon, the platform situates these perspectives within broader Middle Eastern and global dynamics.

Founded by Kevork Yacoubian, a Lebanese-Armenian researcher with a Master’s degree in International Affairs, the platform brings together academic insight and lived experience to examine post-war realities, migration, collective memory, and geopolitical power structures.

Core Principles

Inform

Inform by providing clear, well-researched geopolitical and political analysis.

Reflect

Reflect on identity, trauma, migration, and diaspora politics through personal and collective perspectives.

Empower

Empower youth by positioning them as producers of knowledge and narratives, not merely consumers.

Bridging Knowledge, Preserving Identity, and Shaping Dialogue

Geopolitical Spectrum bridges the gap between academic analysis and accessible public discourse. Publishing in both English and Western Armenian, the platform combines written articles, interviews, data-driven visuals, and multimedia storytelling to engage a diverse and evolving audience.

By linking Armenian community concerns, such as diaspora identity, memory of conflict and migration pressures. To wider regional and global developments, the platform fosters meaningful dialogue within the community and beyond.

Vision

Geopolitical Spectrum aims to grow into a sustainable digital archive, an educational resource and a collaborative space for youth-led analysis, civic dialogue, and innovative storytelling. Through this work, it seeks to preserve language, elevate underrepresented voices and contribute to a more informed and critically engaged generation.
