Geopolitical Spectrum welcomes original contributions that explore geopolitics, identity, diaspora dynamics and related issues from a critical and informed perspective. We seek clear, well-supported and accessible writing that brings thoughtful analysis into wider public conversation.

Contributors should carefully review the guidelines below before submitting their work.

Op-eds

Opinion pieces that present a clear viewpoint grounded in analysis and informed perspective.

Analytical articles

Research-based articles that develop a focused argument supported by credible evidence.

Interviews

Interviews with researchers, practitioners and community voices that offer insight into important issues.

Infographics

Data-driven and visual storytelling that presents complex ideas clearly and accurately.

Submission requirements

All submissions must:

  • Be original and previously unpublished.
  • Be written in English or Western Armenian.
  • Reflect the platform’s thematic focus.
  • Demonstrate clarity, coherence and analytical rigor.
  • Properly attribute all sources and avoid plagiarism.


Submissions that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

Formatting guidelines

To maintain consistency across the platform, all written submissions must follow these formatting guidelines:

  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font size: 12-point
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Alignment: Justified
  • File format: Microsoft Word document (.docx) or a shareable Google Docs link
  • Title: Clearly stated at the top of the document
  • Author’s name: Included in the document
  • Length: 600 to 1,200 words


Failure to follow these guidelines may delay the review process or result in the submission being rejected.

Editorial standards

All submissions are subject to editorial review. The editorial team may:

  • Edit submissions for clarity, grammar and AP style.
  • Request revisions before publication.
  • Decline submissions that do not meet the platform’s editorial or thematic standards.

Please include:

  • Your full name.
  • A short bio of two to three lines.
  • An optional author photo.
  • The title of your submission.

Publication and disclaimer notice

All submissions must be original and submitted exclusively to Geopolitical Spectrum. By submitting your work, you confirm that it:

  • Has not been published previously in any form, including on online platforms, personal blogs or social media as a full article.
  • Is not under consideration by another publication at the time of submission.


Geopolitical Spectrum reserves the right to publish accepted work across its digital platforms and retain it as part of its permanent public archive.
